Ermegildo Gallinar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastian Villerias having to make a save. Joey Villoldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Villerias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute Miguel Villapecellin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Villerias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Xaime Clemente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tropiezo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xaime Clemente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Villerias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 played minutes Tropiezo FC got a freekick which was hit by Francis Herbella. Ximen Gordejuela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Helder Acaron made a huge save. Sebastian Villerias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Villapecellin's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. When Miguel Villapecellin came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Tropiezo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Villapecellin couldn't finish the play. Cipriano Aranzana might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Helder Acaron. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cipriano Aranzana ran back to his position shaking his head. Tropiezo FC's Helder Acaron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Aranzana in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute Cipriano Aranzana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helder Acaron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tropiezo FC's Francis Herbella got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Ascencio Socarras sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tropiezo FC's Helder Acaron didn't even have to move. Helder Acaron made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ximen Gordejuela sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Tropiezo FC's Francis Herbella got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cipriano Aranzana to strike the kick off in the second half. Joey Villoldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Sebastian Villerias made a huge save. When Ospin Mezquita fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tropiezo FC's protests and gave Ospin Mezquita a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Floresta AFC booed when Tropiezo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ospin Mezquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Floresta AFC's Ascencio Socarras tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sebastian Villerias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Villapecellin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joey Villoldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ximen Gordejuela struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Helder Acaron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floresta AFC. When Cipriano Aranzana came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Floresta AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Aranzana couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, Tropiezo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Aranzana came free, but Helder Acaron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Joey Villoldo came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Tropiezo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joey Villoldo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 89 minutes, Cipriano Aranzana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floresta AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Aranzana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, Joey Villoldo made a precise shot to the right of Sebastian Villerias. Floresta AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Joey Villoldo struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Sebastian Villerias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tropiezo FC. Tropiezo FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
