The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Fernandez Sopeña came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Itapeby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandez Sopeña couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the game, Celeste FC's Oinaz Sorzano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ixona Pedrosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Araoz Gaig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bakar Berrez in the 14th minute. In the 18thth minute of the game Phelipe Quadros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itapeby's Ixona Pedrosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Celeste FC's goalkeeper Araoz Gaig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bakar Berrez. Araoz Gaig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandez Sopeña in the 23rd minute of the match. Araoz Gaig made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Bakar Berrez sent off a good shot on target. Phelipe Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ixona Pedrosa having to interfere. Oinaz Sorzano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th match minute, Itapeby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Urrechua to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Phelipe Quadros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Phelipe Quadros made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Celeste FC's Phelipe Quadros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ixona Pedrosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Fernandez Sopeña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Araoz Gaig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandez Sopeña in the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Itapeby's zone, Phelipe Quadros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ixona Pedrosa came out of the goal and Phelipe Quadros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Oinaz Sorzano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celeste FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oinaz Sorzano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ixona Pedrosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Celeste FC's Phelipe Quadros dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. When Modestio Medel fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itapeby's protests and gave Modestio Medel a yellow card for diving instead. Fernando Urrechua charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Urrechua the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes Itapeby got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Urrechua. After a defensive mix-up in Itapeby's zone, Phelipe Quadros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ixona Pedrosa came out of the goal and Phelipe Quadros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domeka Riegas hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Araoz Gaig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tavio Laboy in the 78th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernandez Sopeña in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Araoz Gaig saved Celeste FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oinaz Sorzano got free with Ixona Pedrosa in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, Itapeby's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oinaz Sorzano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bakar Berrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Araoz Gaig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Celeste FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
