Patxi Zalaeta's late challenge caught a Averias FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patxi Zalaeta helped the player get up and apologised. Erruki Betolaza had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Sebastian Mondrevilla's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Padro Cantillo fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Camano AFC's protests and gave Padro Cantillo a yellow card for diving instead. Bermudo Bilbao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urbano Mazas went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Erruki Betolaza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frasquito Manzanedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Camano AFC's Urbano Mazas in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Mazas in the 40th minute of play forced Averias FC's goalkeeper Bermudo Bilbao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbano Mazas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Bermudo Bilbao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 48 minutes, Frasquito Manzanedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Averias FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frasquito Manzanedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Angelino Repuente might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bermudo Bilbao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelino Repuente ran back to his position shaking his head. Bermudo Bilbao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Mazas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Urbano Mazas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gorosti Banzo kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Angelino Repuente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Urbano Mazas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camano AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Urbano Mazas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bermudo Bilbao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bermudo Bilbao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Mazas in the 93rd minute of play. Angelino Repuente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Bermudo Bilbao made a huge save. Erruki Betolaza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frasquito Manzanedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelino Repuente struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Bermudo Bilbao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camano AFC. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Camano AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
