Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Silverio Mercado made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Chilcas's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Gaytan came free, but Lonzo Caroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osmundo Cereijais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lonzo Caroso having to interfere. Osmundo Cereijais might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lonzo Caroso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osmundo Cereijais ran back to his position shaking his head. 8 minutes into the match, Chilcas's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Mercado came free, but Lonzo Caroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monte Robira kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After 10 minutes, Bernebe Ricote mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chilcas and the Deportivo Maldonado players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chilcas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Deportivo Maldonado. Silverio Mercado stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lonzo Caroso. 1-0. In the 16th minute, Jaime Gaytan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Loren Meca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Savier Govantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Silverio Mercado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st match minute, Deportivo Maldonado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Mercado to maneuver through the defense. Loren Meca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Savier Govantes in the 22nd minute of play. In the 28th minute Jaime Gaytan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lonzo Caroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Mercado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Lonzo Caroso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lonzo Caroso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silverio Mercado in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Maldonado's Osmundo Cereijais got a free kick in the 34th minute. Lonzo Caroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Mercado in the 36th minute of the match. Jaime Gaytan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lonzo Caroso having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Laurin Seca fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lonzo Caroso, passed just outside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaime Gaytan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lonzo Caroso. That made the score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Chilcas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monte Robira to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ermano Mielgo was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Chilcas's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Mercado came free, but Lonzo Caroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Mercado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lonzo Caroso having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Silverio Mercado notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Chilcas's Lonzo Caroso. Lonzo Caroso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jaime Gaytan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Lonzo Caroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silverio Mercado in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lonzo Caroso saved Chilcas from getting behind. The supporters of Deportivo Maldonado booed when Chilcas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Bezanilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silverio Mercado struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Lonzo Caroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Maldonado. If Osmundo Cereijais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lonzo Caroso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silverio Mercado's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Laurin Seca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Lonzo Caroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurin Seca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lonzo Caroso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Osmundo Cereijais struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Lonzo Caroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Maldonado. Jaime Gaytan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Gaytan might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lonzo Caroso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Gaytan ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Chilcas getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Tiago Bezanilla hit a great ball. Osmundo Cereijais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lonzo Caroso having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Deportivo Maldonado's Silverio Mercado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lonzo Caroso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deportivo Maldonado had played much better football throughout.
