Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 5th minute, Ipar Monterroso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Cordon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Mercado came free, but Artur Cabaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Silverio Mercado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Cabaña was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Deportivo Maldonado's Silverio Mercado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Cabaña narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jaime Gaytan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th match minute, Cordon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Alguea to maneuver through the defense. Artur Cabaña didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Deportivo Maldonado's Jaime Gaytan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Artur Cabaña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Mercado in the 30th minute of play. Artur Cabaña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmundo Cereijais, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The Cordon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Cabaña should have stopped the shot. When Osmundo Cereijais came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Deportivo Maldonado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osmundo Cereijais couldn't finish the play. After 47 played minutes Cordon FC got a freekick which was hit by Hibai Peralta. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Gaytan in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Cabaña saved Cordon FC from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jimeno Ibern stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silverio Mercado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Artur Cabaña skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 55 minutes, Jaime Gaytan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Maldonado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Gaytan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cordon FC's Jesus Alguea got a free kick in the 59th minute. Silverio Mercado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Artur Cabaña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Gaytan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Loren Meca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Dorrial, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Laurin Seca kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Laurin Seca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Cabaña was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silverio Mercado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 92 minute of play. Ipar Monterroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Artur Cabaña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deportivo Maldonado's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
