Anxo Sabon scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jose Melena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 8 minutes of play, Chapicuy AFC's Helder Yanguas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose Melena was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Sein Agrelo put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Benvido Rubayo. If Anxo Sabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Sein Agrelo put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Benvido Rubayo. If Oswaldo Casar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oswaldo Casar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Benvido Rubayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anxo Sabon in the 32nd minute of play forced Heriberto's goalkeeper Jose Melena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Chapicuy AFC fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Chapicuy AFC's Anxo Sabon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Heriberto's goalkeeper Jose Melena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

After 53 played minutes Chapicuy AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Malla. 56 minutes into the game, Ireno Guinao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chapicuy AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heriberto the free kick. In the 59th minute, Ireno Guinao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sein Agrelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Benvido Rubayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Oswaldo Casar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benvido Rubayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heriberto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Florencio Reina in the 66th minute. After taking down the ball on Heriberto's corner Florencio Reina fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benvido Rubayo quite easily take care of the ball. If Oswaldo Casar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Frichoso Alcivia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heriberto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frichoso Alcivia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, Oswaldo Casar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benvido Rubayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. In the 82nd minute, Anxo Sabon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Heriberto's Jose Melena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Heriberto from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 3-4 when Helder Yanguas sped through Heriberto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jose Melena. If Helder Yanguas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chapicuy AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
