Feliberto Gormaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ticho Siles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benigno Miguel's late challenge caught a Achar AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benigno Miguel helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Algorta FC! The supporters of Achar AFC booed when Algorta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Lastras didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Achar AFC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Hever Salantes hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bibiano Cavadilla in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Gatica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Bibiano Cavadilla came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Algorta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bibiano Cavadilla couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Achar AFC's Bilbo Reig got a free kick in the 37th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Algorta FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Achar AFC:s goal. The referee gave Achar AFC a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gaitan Postigo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Algorta FC's Ticho Siles. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
