The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cresencio Carreiras during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Joanico FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cordearo Vazquez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Oriol Villalain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joanico FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oriol Villalain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cordearo Vazquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leizarraga Castaños received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Cordearo Vazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuelo Chico to strike the kick off in the second half. Idacio Ruiloba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuelo Chico, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Aloisio Perucho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordearo Vazquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leizarraga Castaños's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Bermund Panizo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 88th minute Aloisio Perucho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Idacio Ruiloba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Joanico FC's Brais Viladrosa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 94th minute, Joanico FC's Oriol Villalain ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cordearo Vazquez. Cordearo Vazquez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
