Cirilo Sejomill came out of the goal and Bartoleme Ocouto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the game, Procopio Castellano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chamizo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Punta Carretas FC the free kick. Procopio Castellano hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Bartoleme Ocouto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmund Kazimierz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Procopio Castellano, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Bernard Camats's late challenge caught a Chamizo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernard Camats helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Punta Carretas FC's Bernard Camats got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th match minute, Chamizo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabirel Urdapileta to maneuver through the defense. After 16 minutes of play, Chamizo's Vicemte Barraza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmund Kazimierz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the game, Evert Julin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Edmund Kazimierz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicemte Barraza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26thth minute of the game Bartoleme Ocouto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chamizo's Cirilo Sejomill was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Bartoleme Ocouto put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cirilo Sejomill. Maximo Valino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cirilo Sejomill came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximo Valino slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, Punta Carretas FC's Bartoleme Ocouto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Maximo Valino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartoleme Ocouto to make the kick off. If Maximo Valino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chamizo's Cirilo Sejomill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartoleme Ocouto in the 57th minute of play. Cirilo Sejomill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Edmund Kazimierz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Procopio Castellano, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 94th minute, Maximo Valino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Punta Carretas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Punta Carretas FC had won after a very even match.
