An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaxan Risel in the 68th minute of play forced Punta Carretas FC's goalkeeper Edmund Kazimierz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 played minutes Punta Carretas FC got a freekick which was hit by Aureo Cañete. Corderall Pendones struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Edmund Kazimierz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay AFC. If Maximo Valino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Chumacero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90thth minute of the game Bartoleme Ocouto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay AFC's Oscar Chumacero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santiago Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Chumacero having to interfere. In the 94thth minute of the game Bartoleme Ocouto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay AFC's Oscar Chumacero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Punta Carretas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
