After a rather tough play, Verdun FC's Alfonso Trigo got a free kick in the 5th minute. Gervasio Ruano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ximen Somovilla in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Ximen Somovilla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervasio Ruano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Horacio Ziarza hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hitzeder Morquecho got free with Piearres Parral in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Hitzeder Morquecho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Verdun FC booed when Campana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xurxo Santaren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Campana's Gervasio Ruano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximen Somovilla in the 44th minute of play. With a little luck, Verdun FC's Piearres Parral got control of the ball when Hitzeder Morquecho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ximen Somovilla to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ximen Somovilla in the 53rd minute of play forced Campana's goalkeeper Gervasio Ruano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Verdun FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bibiano Molleda came free, but Piearres Parral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hitzeder Morquecho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 60 played minutes Verdun FC got a freekick which was hit by Primo Arrateguibel. If Bibiano Molleda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piearres Parral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hitzeder Morquecho in the 66th minute of the match. With a little luck, Campana's Gervasio Ruano got control of the ball when Gero Madama tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Campana getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Mariano Chandeiro hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Hitzeder Morquecho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piearres Parral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bibiano Molleda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bibiano Molleda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piearres Parral having to interfere. 2-1 became the score in the 87th minute when Bibiano Molleda elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Campana's Emesto Mendiola got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Gero Madama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
