Sosa's Richie Argudo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Sosa from getting a goal against them. Federacion FC's Bonifaco Iban got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bonifaco Iban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sosa's Richie Argudo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Sosa from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Lesardo Lugunez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richie Argudo was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Kinsen Guisla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinito Barcenas having to interfere. Tadzio Bartolome kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Bonifaco Iban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Richie Argudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lesardo Lugunez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richie Argudo having to make a save. In the 41st minute, Raymundo Granda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federacion FC's Lesardo Lugunez got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 48 played minutes Sosa got a freekick which was hit by Sedeni Cerradelo. Federacion FC's Bonifaco Iban came free and shot a quick shot against goal 49 minutes in the game, fortunately Richie Argudo had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

During the 56th minute of the match Sedeni Cerradelo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sedeni Cerradelo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Richie Argudo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lesardo Lugunez in the 66th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Federacion FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sosa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
