Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Galeno Algara started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Joanes Salbago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Novillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Joanes Salbago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tohias Sominaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tohias Sominaya came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Novillos's Hulberto Canedo. But to his dismay, Hulberto Canedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lino Seijon charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Seijon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Novillos's Lino Seijon got a free kick in the 18th minute. Guichon FC's Jorge Concepcion couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Novillos. Leoncio Vinas's late challenge caught a Guichon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leoncio Vinas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Novillos's Lino Seijon got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Tohias Sominaya was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joanes Salbago showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. Galeno Algara struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Damian Guisasola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guichon FC. In the 33rd minute, Benigno Casasola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Novillos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jorge Concepcion was slow to take the kick. During this time Guichon FC's players had a chance to rest. If Sagrario Darraña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hulberto Canedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Tohias Sominaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tohias Sominaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joanes Salbago, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joanes Salbago made a kick off. When Guichon FC's Galeno Algara in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Novillos's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Novillos's Damian Guisasola got control of the ball when Sagrario Darraña tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tohias Sominaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulberto Canedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Hulberto Canedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tohias Sominaya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Guichon FC's zone, Joanes Salbago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tohias Sominaya came out of the goal and Joanes Salbago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Joanes Salbago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tohias Sominaya was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Damian Guisasola made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Sagrario Darraña sent off a good shot on target. Sagrario Darraña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A nice corner shot did that Jorge Concepcion got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Damian Guisasola quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sagrario Darraña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Damian Guisasola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Elvio Gurendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hulberto Canedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tohias Sominaya having to interfere.
