Risso FC's Nicolas Moyua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joanes Salbago in the 16th minute of play. If Hulberto Canedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Moyua came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Novillos's Joanes Salbago. But to his dismay, Joanes Salbago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nicolas Moyua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joanes Salbago in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Angelino Castejon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zuriko Mujal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Bastida charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Bastida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oto Marisancena to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Risso FC got a freekick which was hit by Obano Echarri. With a little luck, Risso FC's Nicolas Moyua got control of the ball when Joanes Salbago tried to sneak it across the goal line. Novillos's Damian Guisasola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zuriko Mujal in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Novillos's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Botas came free, but Damian Guisasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Moyua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joanes Salbago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th match minute, Risso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Bonifaz to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Pedro Botas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Seijon during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Risso FC's Rigoberto Bonifaz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Novillos. In the 83rd minute, Oto Marisancena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hulberto Canedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Moyua having to interfere. Damian Guisasola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oto Marisancena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Novillos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
