The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sanson Carcedo was the one to do the kick off. Sanson Carcedo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Zapican AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 73 played minutes Zapican AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Luna. Zapican AFC's Senon Liquiñano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liberto Suarez in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Durazno AFC's zone, Sanson Carcedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikeldi Olave came out of the goal and Sanson Carcedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Zapican AFC booed when Durazno AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Vinuesa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urtsua Viñas during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Urtsua Viñas hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Senon Liquiñano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Perera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Durazno AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Zapican AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Zapican AFC.
