Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luis Goycoa kicked off to start the match. In the 10th minute of the match Fulvio Proietto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erdiano Baraona skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Santxo Puellas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erdiano Baraona was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Erdiano Baraona came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Salta AFC's Santxo Puellas. But to his dismay, Santxo Puellas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Santxo Puellas might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erdiano Baraona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santxo Puellas ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the match, Franquia's goal looked a bit too open when Santxo Puellas came free, but Erdiano Baraona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Salta AFC's Roger Juarez got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Salta AFC's Santxo Puellas in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Franquia's goalie prevented a goal. Bernaldo Arandoja struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Erdiano Baraona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salta AFC. Santxo Puellas took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erdiano Baraona. Erdiano Baraona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Salta AFC fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Salta AFC's Santxo Puellas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 43rdth minute of the game Santxo Puellas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Franquia's Erdiano Baraona was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Santxo Puellas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Salta AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the game, Weather Morejon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Franquia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salta AFC the free kick. In the 51st match minute, Franquia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Weather Morejon to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 52 minutes, Santxo Puellas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salta AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santxo Puellas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernaldo Arandoja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Erdiano Baraona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Salta AFC's Edmundo Lerea got a free kick in the 56th minute. Azeari Serrana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florentino Quintanilla having to make a save. With his leg Erdiano Baraona managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Salta AFC's Santxo Puellas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Erdiano Baraona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Lerea in the 61st minute of the match. Armando Pascucci kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santxo Puellas got free with Erdiano Baraona in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Weather Morejon kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Franquia's Azeari Serrana got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erdiano Baraona didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santxo Puellas went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. A collision led to Salta AFC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Santxo Puellas hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Santxo Puellas made a precise shot to the right of Erdiano Baraona. Franquia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Bernaldo Arandoja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Franquia's goal looked a bit too open when Miliano Espino came free, but Erdiano Baraona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Miliano Espino notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Franquia's Erdiano Baraona. Erdiano Baraona was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
