After 4 played minutes Larrosa got a freekick which was hit by Transito Gos. A collision led to Piedras FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Serafo Gañona hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Piedras FC's zone, Enrico Varlett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xove Nogal came out of the goal and Enrico Varlett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Larrosa booed when Piedras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ursino Govelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Baltasar Guardo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 23 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Arotza Clavell was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Arotza Clavell made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Elazar Olando sent off a good shot on target. After 26 minutes, Dantae Bañuelos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Larrosa and the Piedras FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dantae Bañuelos kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Arotza Clavell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elazar Olando in the 30th minute. If Javier Lance had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Weterio Oces hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The wind increased when Baltasar Guardo made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Javier Lance managed to get in a good position for a shot. Larrosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Lance was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xove Nogal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enrico Varlett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Xove Nogal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xove Nogal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Varlett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Javier Lance fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xove Nogal having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Piedras FC's Elazar Olando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arotza Clavell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Javier Lance struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Xove Nogal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Larrosa. Enrico Varlett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Xove Nogal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrico Varlett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xove Nogal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Baltasar Guardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arotza Clavell having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Larrosa got a freekick which was hit by Enrico Varlett. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Guardo in the 88th minute of play forced Larrosa's goalkeeper Arotza Clavell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Transito Gos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Larrosa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piedras FC the free kick. The supporters of Piedras FC booed when Larrosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Transito Gos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Larrosa's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Guardo came free, but Arotza Clavell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Baltasar Guardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piedras FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Larrosa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
