The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lastur Dominguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Ganzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Ganzo in the 5th minute of play forced Paralle's goalkeeper Lastur Dominguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Ganzo in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lastur Dominguez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute of the match, Berdaitz Trelles got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pitin Soldevilla was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Miguel Ganzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Escudero got a freekick which was hit by George Ruifrancos. Argenis Laguno's late challenge caught a Paralle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Paralle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berdaitz Trelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Ganzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Tximitx Corces had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Eusko Cagide's late challenge caught a Escudero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If Berdaitz Trelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Xusto Caldera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pitin Soldevilla was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. When Miguel Ganzo fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Batista Huergo made a kick off. Javier Recondo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Lastur Dominguez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Batista Huergo in the 54th minute. Berdaitz Trelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pitin Soldevilla having to interfere. Pitin Soldevilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berdaitz Trelles in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Escudero's Argenis Laguno got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute of the match Vitor Farran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pitin Soldevilla skillfully saved the ball. Escudero's Pitin Soldevilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xusto Caldera in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Batista Huergo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escudero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batista Huergo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. George Ruifrancos struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Lastur Dominguez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escudero. Thanks to some nice moves Batista Huergo could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Lastur Dominguez however easily saved by the left post. After 94 played minutes Paralle got a freekick which was hit by Vitor Farran. The Escudero players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Paralle from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
