The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Uxio Penas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gau Peramato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iraunkor Temes in the 7th minute. Gau Peramato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iraunkor Temes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Bento Hilari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pero Estramiana came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Buricayupi FC's Pascual Navia. But to his dismay, Pascual Navia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Uxio Penas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gau Peramato having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erruki Alison in the 33rd minute of play forced Buricayupi FC's goalkeeper Gau Peramato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Cerezo's late challenge caught a Buricayupi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. Alonso Trimiño made a great header on Buricayupi FC's corner, it was just that Cardona AFC's Pero Estramiana managed to reach the ball for a save. With his leg Gau Peramato managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Cardona AFC's Uxio Penas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pascual Navia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernebe Astoreca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Pero Estramiana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Pascual Navia made the kick off in the second half. Gau Peramato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uxio Penas in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Iraunkor Temes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gau Peramato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gau Peramato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iraunkor Temes in the 64th minute of play. Pero Estramiana didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Uxio Penas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buricayupi FC's Gau Peramato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iraunkor Temes in the 76th minute of play. After 83 minutes, Enol Rotalo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buricayupi FC and the Cardona AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cardona AFC booed when Buricayupi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enol Rotalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Galtero Ciriaca sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gau Peramato skillfully saved the ball. In the 91st minute, Iraunkor Temes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Alonso Trimiño in the 94th minute really tested Pero Estramiana's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 95 minutes into the match, Cardona AFC's goalkeeper Pero Estramiana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernebe Astoreca. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Buricayupi FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
