An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Flecha in the 17th minute of play forced Carqueja's goalkeeper Hector Asas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carqueja's Hector Asas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Flecha in the 19th minute of play. Carqueja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fernandez FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Carqueja's Evis Banegas got a free kick in the 31st minute. Hector Asas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Flecha, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Carqueja's Hector Asas got control of the ball when Romulo Faso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gaztea Barbot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Bornes having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaztea Barbot to make the kick off. Carqueja's Hector Asas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Faso in the 59th minute of play. Petrigai Mendaña hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Fernandez FC's Delmiro Bornes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaztea Barbot in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Fernandez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaztea Barbot came free, but Delmiro Bornes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apolo Linde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Delmiro Bornes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaztea Barbot, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Hector Asas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mederi Arzola in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Carqueja getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Shepherd Lobado hit a great ball. Frederico Flecha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Carqueja's Gaztea Barbot in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fernandez FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Fernandez FC booed when Carqueja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Txurio Alfaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petrigai Mendaña took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hector Asas. Carqueja's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Fernandez FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Carqueja's performance. The match ended with a win for Carqueja.
