After 6 played minutes Soca AFC got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Bares. Su Baro's late challenge caught a Soca AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Su Baro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Soca AFC booed when Pintado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Su Baro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Telena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lon Louzara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Senio Celada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lon Louzara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Telena in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Soca AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bidun Genova hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Soca AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Telena came free, but Lon Louzara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Senio Celada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pintado's supporters rose to their feet, but Senio Celada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lon Louzara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lon Louzara came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Pintado's Senio Celada. But to his dismay, Senio Celada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pintado's Mauro Telena got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lon Louzara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Telena in the 32nd minute of play. Lon Louzara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Senio Celada in the 42nd minute of the match. Pintado's Giraldo Romaza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Urbina in the 46th minute of play. Ramos Marcello who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 49thth minute tested the skills of Giraldo Romaza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salvador Urbina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Senio Celada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Lon Louzara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Urbina in the 60th minute of play forced Pintado's goalkeeper Giraldo Romaza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soca AFC's Ramos Marcello got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Soca AFC's Salvador Urbina in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pintado's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Mauro Telena got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Senio Celada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvador Urbina during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute Mauro Telena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lon Louzara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lon Louzara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Telena, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Ramos Marcello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soca AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramos Marcello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giraldo Romaza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the game, Zacarias Bares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soca AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pintado the free kick. A collision led to Soca AFC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Zacarias Bares hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes Pintado got a freekick which was hit by Mergildo Capellan. In the 85th minute, Dalmai Beneitez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute Ramos Marcello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giraldo Romaza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pintado's Giraldo Romaza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Urbina in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute of the match Bidun Genova shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giraldo Romaza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 96thth minute of the game Salvador Urbina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pintado's Giraldo Romaza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
