After 3 played minutes Echeverria got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Caravantes. In the 4th minute, Pero Samperio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maria Ruete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Lucian Mateu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Maria Ruete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Felpeto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Ajorbe in the 17th minute of play. Lucian Mateu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maria Ruete, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 25th minute, Henry Ajorbe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilmar Conti hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maria Ruete stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucian Mateu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pero Samperio, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the game, Tarugo FC's Maria Ruete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucian Mateu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 57 minutes, Pello Horcasitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Echeverria and the Tarugo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, one of Echeverria:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Echeverria. Lucian Mateu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matia Obispo went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 61st minute, Luciano Alzaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucian Mateu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matia Obispo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Maria Ruete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65thth minute of the game Maria Ruete who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Echeverria's Lucian Mateu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Morcillo in the 72nd minute of play forced Tarugo FC's goalkeeper Roberto Felpeto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hodei Allo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Piearres Orue hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Artur Morcillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Felpeto having to interfere. Roberto Felpeto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Morcillo in the 87th minute of play. Pero Samperio scored 4-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucian Mateu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Maria Ruete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
