Ulises Barbera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Brieba having to interfere. Esdras Igay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ulises Barbera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Albano Retana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarugo's Cordeal Mella shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Angelino Brieba but with some difficulty. Ulises Barbera struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Angelino Brieba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarugo. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tarugo's goalkeeper Tino Gamboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tarugo's Tino Gamboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boni Berganza in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Tarugo getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ulises Barbera hit a great ball. Tino Gamboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brais Isoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esdras Igay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Brieba having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Barbera in the 41st minute of play forced Mosquitos's goalkeeper Angelino Brieba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Esdras Igay made the kick off in the second half. Ulises Barbera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarugo's Tino Gamboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Tarugo from getting a goal against them. After 62 minutes of play, Tarugo's Esdras Igay made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelino Brieba was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Brais Isoba in the 66th minute of play forced Tarugo's goalkeeper Tino Gamboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boni Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ulises Barbera came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Tarugo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Barbera couldn't finish the play. Esdras Igay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esdras Igay struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Angelino Brieba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarugo. In the 74th minute, Brais Isoba fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mosquitos's goalkeeper Angelino Brieba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Mosquitos defense, Ulises Barbera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelino Brieba. The Mosquitos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelino Brieba should have stopped the shot. After 84 played minutes Mosquitos got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Deco. Angelino Brieba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esdras Igay in the 85th minute of play. Tarugo's Esdras Igay got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Boni Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Angelino Brieba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esdras Igay in the 93rd minute of play. Angelino Brieba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Barbera, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Mosquitos's goal looked a bit too open when Esdras Igay came free, but Angelino Brieba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tarugo had played much better football throughout.
