Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fagundez's Soin Pecina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ariel Aguilar in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Satordi Malet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 5 minutes, Garci Barbosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fagundez and the Montevideo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Garci Barbosa hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute Montevideo AFC were awarded a corner. Benvido Mañe went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Fermin Chinchilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fagundez's supporters rose to their feet, but Fermin Chinchilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Idalgo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, Montevideo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Soin Pecina came free, but Marcos Idalgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blanco Ciaño kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. With a little luck, Montevideo AFC's Marcos Idalgo got control of the ball when Fermin Chinchilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fermin Chinchilla struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Marcos Idalgo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fagundez. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaxan Posadas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Satordi Malet successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Montevideo AFC booed when Fagundez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Semeno Tanasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Soin Pecina came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Fagundez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Soin Pecina couldn't finish the play. Salomone Zuri hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Benvido Mañe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dodorol Cucurull sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute of the match Benvido Mañe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Satordi Malet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 80th minute, Soin Pecina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fagundez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dodorol Cucurull got free with Satordi Malet in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Gaxan Posadas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dodorol Cucurull recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fagundez's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
