Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hospital's Bernardino Avila started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Jimenez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Alvarez to maneuver through the defense. Hulberto Caballol made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Fernan Paba sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardino Avila in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gartxot Buisante saved Jimenez from getting behind. The supporters of Jimenez booed when Hospital was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ihintza Ferrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Balendin Patiño had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hulberto Caballol. Hospital's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Balendin Patiño was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 29th match minute, Jimenez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Paba to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Hospital's Faro Coleira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Hospital's goalkeeper Hulberto Caballol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xacobo Barredo. The crowd rose to their feet as Xacobo Barredo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hulberto Caballol. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. Xacobo Barredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Balendin Patiño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hulberto Caballol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xacobo Barredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Hulberto Caballol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balendin Patiño in the 46th minute of play forced Hospital's goalkeeper Hulberto Caballol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Balendin Patiño to make the kick off. Ihintza Ferrero kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The Hospital fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Hospital's Jaunti Rubiños looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hulberto Caballol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balendin Patiño in the 65th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Erubiel Toledano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hulberto Caballol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balendin Patiño in the 73rd minute of the match. Xacobo Barredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balendin Patiño took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hulberto Caballol. Hulberto Caballol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 81 minutes in the game, Jaunti Rubiños fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gartxot Buisante having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xacobo Barredo in the 87th minute of play forced Hospital's goalkeeper Hulberto Caballol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balendin Patiño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 90 minutes, Balendin Patiño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jimenez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balendin Patiño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 played minutes Hospital got a freekick which was hit by Frances Agüeros. Jimenez were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hospital for a fine match.
