In the 16th minute, Simon Urbieta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rodo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Tapia's zone, Simon Urbieta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvadore Padriña came out of the goal and Simon Urbieta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Urbieta in the 57th minute of play forced Tapia's goalkeeper Salvadore Padriña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 played minutes Rodo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dalmau Mendaña. In the 66th minute, Lop Pedro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hunfredo Obaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordarrell Clusella having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salvadore Padriña prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Tapia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
