Karlos Iruegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Madaleno Caruezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Karlos Iruegas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herauso Alguerdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordeara Costas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Roque in the 21st minute of play forced Itapeby's goalkeeper Cordeara Costas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Roja AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Estebano Bentisca came free, but Madaleno Caruezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, Itapeby's Karlos Iruegas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Madaleno Caruezo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Estebano Bentisca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. The Roja AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Itapeby were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiago Roque was the one to do the kick off. Herauso Alguerdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Madaleno Caruezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estebano Bentisca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the game, Luciano Villaurreta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roja AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itapeby the free kick. Inocencio Colomes's late challenge caught a Roja AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inocencio Colomes helped the player get up and apologised. Cordeara Costas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Roque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vasco Pedroso came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Itapeby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasco Pedroso couldn't finish the play. Tiago Roque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordeara Costas having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Tiago Roque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roja AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Roque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 played minutes Roja AFC got a freekick which was hit by Laffitte Gimenez. Tiago Roque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Tartalo Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordeara Costas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karlos Iruegas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Madaleno Caruezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Itapeby were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Roja AFC's much stronger midfield.
