Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Arapey's Sanson Escandàn started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gaxan Lucena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Burgoa having to make a save. In the 7th minute, Sanson Escandàn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Illart Saribiarte fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scavino's protests and gave Illart Saribiarte a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Scavino got a freekick which was hit by Illart Saribiarte. In the 11th match minute, Scavino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xzaver Prellezo to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Scavino's goal looked a bit too open when Sanson Escandàn came free, but Victor Burgoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Gaxan Lucena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arapey's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaxan Lucena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Burgoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Scavino fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Arapey. Lixandro Ybañez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Victor Burgoa. 1-0. Mark Pumares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bastian Lejalde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Bastian Lejalde notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Arapey's Mark Pumares. Mark Pumares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the match, Scavino's goalkeeper Victor Burgoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaxan Lucena. After 40 played minutes Scavino got a freekick which was hit by Cerilo Riguera. Lixandro Ybañez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bastian Lejalde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Pumares having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bastian Lejalde was the one to do the kick off. Gaxan Lucena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Burgoa having to interfere. Arapey's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Bastian Lejalde scored to the left of an out of position Mark Pumares, making the score, 1-2. A collision led to Arapey getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Lixandro Ybañez hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Arapey's zone, Bastian Lejalde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Pumares came out of the goal and Bastian Lejalde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Bastian Lejalde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scavino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bastian Lejalde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sanson Escandàn might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Burgoa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sanson Escandàn ran back to his position shaking his head. Gaxan Lucena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ignado Ponga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Ignado Ponga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scavino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignado Ponga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sanson Escandàn scored 2-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Burgoa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ignado Ponga came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Scavino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignado Ponga couldn't finish the play. Sanson Escandàn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Raitin Udobro fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arapey's protests and gave Raitin Udobro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Raitin Udobro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
