Frichoso Sampil came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta's Sotil Zuzuarregui. But to his dismay, Sotil Zuzuarregui quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Gaztea Asencion kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Sotil Zuzuarregui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floresta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sotil Zuzuarregui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frichoso Sampil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sotil Zuzuarregui's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Frichoso Sampil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ovidio Servin to strike the kick off in the second half. When Ovidio Servin came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Floresta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Servin couldn't finish the play. After having played for 91 minutes, Ovidio Servin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floresta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Servin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sugar Ituarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Floresta eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
