Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Beremundo Terron made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Floresta's Bruno Asturias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Astigar Bolinaga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elia Belon was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Mercedes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Floresta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raitin Brufau was slow to take the kick. During this time Mercedes's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Raitin Brufau almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Floresta's Gustau Fornell did a great save. Astigar Bolinaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Asturias in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mercedes's Xamin Casadevante got a free kick in the 18th minute. Xamin Casadevante hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Floresta's Bruno Asturias got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elia Belon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustau Fornell having to interfere. Oton Villamizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gustau Fornell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Elia Belon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mercedes's supporters rose to their feet, but Elia Belon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustau Fornell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valentim Estremiana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustau Fornell having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Valentim Estremiana got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gustau Fornell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Belon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elia Belon was the one to do the kick off. Gustau Fornell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentim Estremiana, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 53 minutes, Amador Casaña mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Floresta and the Mercedes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elia Belon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustau Fornell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Belon in the 60th minute of play. Floresta's Bruno Asturias got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elia Belon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beremundo Terron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Asturias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astigar Bolinaga having to interfere. After 77 played minutes, Mercedes's Roland Condado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustau Fornell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mercedes reached it. Floresta's Gustau Fornell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentim Estremiana in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Valentim Estremiana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustau Fornell. Floresta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentim Estremiana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Mercedes's Ysidro Tendiero got a free kick in the 88th minute. Arnau Vello, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bruno Asturias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Astigar Bolinaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Floresta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mercedes.
