Sidoro Saz's late challenge caught a Totoral FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sidoro Saz helped the player get up and apologised. Sidoro Saz hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Michel Dolmos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Araoz Marfa in the 30th minute. In the 30th minute, Nunez Malla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Socorro Calon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gamus Aleja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Cagigal having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Nunez Malla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Totoral FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nunez Malla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 50 minutes Vejigas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sidoro Estrada who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Nunez Malla heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gamus Aleja to strike the kick off in the second half. 67 minutes into the match, Vejigas FC's goalkeeper Maximo Cagigal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gamus Aleja. In the 71st minute, Hulberto Madrazo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michel Dolmos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Araoz Marfa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Araoz Marfa in the 82nd minute of play forced Totoral FC's goalkeeper Michel Dolmos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gamus Aleja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nunez Malla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vejigas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Totoral FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
