Laureano Estefania took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manex Irizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Manex Irizar put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Laureano Estefania. Edgard Lezarazo made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Obano Mascareñas sent off a good shot on target. Berruti's Aznaro Monedero got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 14 minutes, Obano Mascareñas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morato's supporters crossed their fingers, but Obano Mascareñas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aznaro Monedero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laureano Estefania made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manex Irizar in the 20th minute of play. A hard shot 27 in the game by Obano Mascareñas from a close distance when the talented Edgard Lezarazo managed to make a qualified save. Berruti's players were relieved. Edgard Lezarazo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Obano Mascareñas in the 31st minute. Aznaro Monedero struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Laureano Estefania didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berruti. Edgard Lezarazo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorrin Munguira in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Morato's zone, Xuban Alcivia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laureano Estefania came out of the goal and Xuban Alcivia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berruti's Edgard Lezarazo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Berruti from getting a goal against them. Matthew Tojedo's late challenge caught a Berruti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matthew Tojedo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Morato's Matthew Tojedo got a free kick in the 47th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorrin Munguira made a kick off. Manex Irizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Estefania having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Morato's goal looked a bit too open when Manex Irizar came free, but Laureano Estefania reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aznaro Monedero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 71 minutes, Jorrin Munguira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morato's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorrin Munguira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 71 played minutes Berruti got a freekick which was hit by Enol Gota. If Obano Mascareñas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Jorrin Munguira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Lezarazo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manex Irizar in the 78th minute of play forced Morato's goalkeeper Laureano Estefania to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manex Irizar struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Laureano Estefania didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berruti. Manex Irizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Laureano Estefania tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 minutes Morato's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Enol Gota who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Enol Gota got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Laureano Estefania quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Jorrin Munguira fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morato's protests and gave Jorrin Munguira a yellow card for diving instead. After 99 played minutes Morato got a freekick which was hit by Jorrin Munguira. Despite being the better team, Berruti failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
