In the 4th minute Gonzo Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermelando Jaraba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gonzo Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sanchez Cevallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hermelando Jaraba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzo Ribeiro in the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th play minute Gonzo Ribeiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hermelando Jaraba. 1-0. A collision led to Averias getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Teo Montenegro hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Reno Sana sped through Averias's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicasio Churruca. Albano Valdenebro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Churruca having to interfere. If Reno Sana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reno Sana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Teo Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Averias's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermelando Jaraba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Zambullon's Etxeberri Vivaldo got a free kick in the 35th minute. Gonzo Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermelando Jaraba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sanchez Cevallo in the 38th minute. Gonzo Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermelando Jaraba having to interfere. Zambullon's Hermelando Jaraba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzo Ribeiro in the 45th minute of play. If Sanchez Cevallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albano Valdenebro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzo Ribeiro in the 52nd minute of play forced Zambullon's goalkeeper Hermelando Jaraba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 minutes, Santi Bordonoba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zambullon and the Averias players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zambullon's Santi Bordonoba got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Zambullon's Hermelando Jaraba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzo Ribeiro in the 64th minute of play. Gonzo Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermelando Jaraba having to interfere. If Gonzo Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermelando Jaraba came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Averias's Gonzo Ribeiro. But to his dismay, Gonzo Ribeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Valdenebro in the 74th minute of play forced Averias's goalkeeper Nicasio Churruca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Reno Sana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Etxeberri Vivaldo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Nicasio Churruca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zambullon. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zambullon's goalkeeper Hermelando Jaraba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sanchez Cevallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzo Ribeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermelando Jaraba having to make a save. Reno Sana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicasio Churruca having to make a save. Nicasio Churruca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Valdenebro in the 97th minute of play. Averias were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
