Jimenez FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gurutz Villagomez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikelar Nougaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 38 played minutes Aguila got a freekick which was hit by Santxo Roda. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Birila Amarelle made a kick off. When Birila Amarelle came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Jimenez FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birila Amarelle couldn't finish the play. Jimenez FC's Seme Jetino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Jimenez FC from getting a goal against them. When Fe Seron fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguila's protests and gave Fe Seron a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jimenez FC booed when Aguila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fe Seron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birila Amarelle scored 1-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mikelar Nougaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Toli Alda kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Raul Troche's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Seme Jetino was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Aguila played a much better game than Jimenez FC and deserved their victory. The Jimenez FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
