Averias FC's Diogo Valdevielso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Galeno Montiel in the 25th minute of play. Vidal Piedeconcha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asur Diana having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofilo Urquiola to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Rai Paternina came free, but Asur Diana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Averias FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Galeno Montiel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Averias FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Javier Veragua hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rai Paternina in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Asur Diana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Vidal Piedeconcha came free, but Asur Diana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
