Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Roque Herce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Darwin's supporters rose to their feet, but Roque Herce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Olarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute, Roque Herce made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Olarte. Salamanca FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 14th minute Santos Sarries shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berto Lorden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Olarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roque Herce's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Santos Sarries sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Curcio Salero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roque Herce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fabio Olarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Curcio Salero notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Darwin's Berto Lorden. Berto Lorden was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Roque Herce came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Darwin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Herce couldn't finish the play. Curcio Salero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Roque Herce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roque Herce made a kick off. Fabio Olarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Herce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Salamanca FC's goalkeeper Fabio Olarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervaso Alzorbe. 66 minutes into the match, Darwin's goal looked a bit too open when Curcio Salero came free, but Berto Lorden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Salamanca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Astudillo to maneuver through the defense. Gervaso Alzorbe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Fabio Olarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Curcio Salero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darwin's Gervaso Alzorbe got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Salamanca FC's Santos Sarries in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Darwin's goalie prevented a goal. Ostadar Gochicoa kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Darwin got a freekick which was hit by Cortez Cabezon. Santos Sarries might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Berto Lorden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santos Sarries ran back to his position shaking his head. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
