Abel Tijera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curcio Legarda having to interfere. Vichadero's Rey Bullido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Vichadero from getting a goal against them. After 15 minutes, Ostadar Castriciones mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vichadero and the Alejandrina AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Ostadar Castriciones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Louis Atienza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd match minute, Vichadero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Altares to maneuver through the defense. After 36 minutes, Abel Tijera made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Alejandrina AFC's Curcio Legarda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Alejandrina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Tijera came free, but Curcio Legarda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alejandrina AFC's goalkeeper Curcio Legarda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vichadero's Rey Bullido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Vichadero from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Calisto Zermeño made a kick off. Louis Atienza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Rey Bullido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Louis Atienza came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Alejandrina AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Louis Atienza couldn't finish the play. Louis Atienza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the game, one of Alejandrina AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Curcio Legarda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calisto Zermeño in the 71st minute of the match. With a little luck, Alejandrina AFC's Curcio Legarda got control of the ball when Abel Tijera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rey Bullido came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Alejandrina AFC's Louis Atienza. But to his dismay, Louis Atienza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When Pietro Moñiz fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vichadero's protests and gave Pietro Moñiz a yellow card for diving instead. 91 minutes into the match, Alejandrina AFC's Louis Atienza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rey Bullido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, Vichadero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celino Urdapilleta to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Vichadero defense, Louis Atienza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rey Bullido. The Vichadero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rey Bullido should have stopped the shot. Vichadero's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
