Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Pablo Ziguenza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 8 minutes into the game, Olentzaro Yunibarbia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Pablo Ziguenza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jesus Balado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Orchua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-1 became the score in the 13th minute when Vladimiro Orchua elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Olentzaro Yunibarbia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olentzaro Yunibarbia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Ziguenza having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrew Laviada in the 29th minute of play forced Abrojal AFC's goalkeeper Jesus Balado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olentzaro Yunibarbia in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Ziguenza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olentzaro Yunibarbia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloy Victorica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 38 minutes, Teodoro Espinola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abrojal AFC and the Pocitos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Abrojal AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Espinola to maneuver through the defense. Adriano Artiaga, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 40th match minute, Abrojal AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentim Aleson to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes Abrojal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Valentim Aleson.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimiro Orchua made a kick off. When Melchor Pascalin fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pocitos AFC's protests and gave Melchor Pascalin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pocitos AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Melchor Pascalin hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Manolito Santirso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Ziguenza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olentzaro Yunibarbia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Ziguenza having to interfere. Valentim Aleson hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Abrojal AFC's Jesus Balado got control of the ball when Andrew Laviada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vladimiro Orchua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Abrojal AFC's goalkeeper Jesus Balado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrew Laviada. If Andrew Laviada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pocitos AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
