If Pitin Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blas Ceniceros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lascano AFC's Danilo Munet got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gervasio Baptiste's late challenge caught a Lascano AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gervasio Baptiste helped the player get up and apologised. Gervasio Baptiste kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Zernin Cadorniga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orland Gargante having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Isidro Sopeña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joanico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lascano AFC the free kick. After 40 played minutes Joanico got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Sopeña. Laurgain Cardeños took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Garizabal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes, Danilo Munet made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Joanico's Laurgain Cardeños tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Xinto Piñeros hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Danilo Munet struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Laurgain Cardeños didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lascano AFC.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zernin Cadorniga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pitin Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurgain Cardeños having to interfere. The supporters of Lascano AFC booed when Joanico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neto San didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Joanico getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Prejun Benitua hit a great ball. If Nicanor Garizabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. Nicanor Garizabal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Laurgain Cardeños when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Danilo Munet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Laurgain Cardeños tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Zernin Cadorniga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94thth minute of the game Zernin Cadorniga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lascano AFC's Orland Gargante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lascano AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
