Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Urtsua Lacalle made the kick off and thus started the match. After 9 minutes, Denis Alaña made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ahogados AFC's Chus Liñan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Tacuarembo getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Bonifaco Socobio hit a great ball. A collision led to Tacuarembo getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jaizki Canillas hit a great ball. Oliverio Lloreda kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, one of Tacuarembo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Franko Morelo, was totally fooled by Ahogados AFC's Rayman Cladera, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Franko Morelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan-Carlos Aldasoro in the 30th minute of the match. Juan-Carlos Aldasoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1-2 became the score in the 36th minute when Denis Alaña elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Tacuarembo's goal looked a bit too open when Juan-Carlos Aldasoro came free, but Franko Morelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Alaña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute Juan-Carlos Aldasoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franko Morelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Ahogados AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tacuarembo were winning 1-2.

In a very dangerous position, a player in Ahogados AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Lordi Alesanco walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Alaña got free with Chus Liñan in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 61 played minutes Ahogados AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fonda Lerea. In the 63rd minute, Ahogados AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Denis Alaña fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Roegelio Rocafort came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Ahogados AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roegelio Rocafort couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Ahogados AFC's zone, Urtsua Lacalle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chus Liñan came out of the goal and Urtsua Lacalle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Alaña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chus Liñan having to interfere. Ahogados AFC's Chus Liñan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urtsua Lacalle in the 77th minute of play. If Urtsua Lacalle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Denis Alaña notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ahogados AFC's Chus Liñan. Chus Liñan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Denis Alaña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chus Liñan having to interfere. When the match was over Tacuarembo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ahogados AFC throughout the match.
