Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eder Suazo started the match with the kick off. After 7 minutes, Ascencio Zabala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caraguata FC and the Union FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Millan Intriago took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Weather Cucurull. Weather Cucurull dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Elvio Rivas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Librado Lopidana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Millan Intriago in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Weather Cucurull, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Millan Intriago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the game, Ramiro Salvatierra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caraguata FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Union FC the free kick. The supporters of Union FC booed when Caraguata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Salvatierra didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Millan Intriago came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Union FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Millan Intriago couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Union FC's Eder Suazo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 33rd minute, Eder Suazo fired away a hard free kick towards the goal. Weather Cucurull moved to his left, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went out of bounds. 34 minutes into the match, Union FC's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Montoia came free, but Librado Lopidana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauricio Madrigal during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A well placed Eder Suazo short distance shot in the 38th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elvio Rivas to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Union FC booed when Caraguata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oro Sator didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Caraguata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Millan Intriago came free, but Weather Cucurull reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Eder Suazo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weather Cucurull saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eder Suazo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Weather Cucurull tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Millan Intriago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Millan Intriago in the 84th minute of play forced Caraguata FC's goalkeeper Weather Cucurull to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caraguata FC's Weather Cucurull played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eder Suazo in the 85th minute of play. Eder Suazo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Union FC's Librado Lopidana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Union FC from getting a goal against them. Eder Suazo's late challenge caught a Caraguata FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eder Suazo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Union FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eder Suazo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Ramiro Salvatierra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caraguata FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Salvatierra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Librado Lopidana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 98 minutes into the match, Union FC's goalkeeper Librado Lopidana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cesareo Zuniga. Union FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
