The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot 3 in the game by Gabino Maestro from a close distance when the talented Vincente Rigual managed to make a qualified save. Tala's players were relieved. Txeru Courel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidor Orden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mitxaut Zaton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Tala's goal looked a bit too open when Txeru Courel came free, but Vincente Rigual reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Gabino Maestro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vincente Rigual. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Feliberto Marron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Dayman booed when Tala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Umbria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Txeru Courel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliberto Marron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frechoso Paz hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Isidor Orden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Mitxaut Zaton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Txeru Courel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincente Rigual having to interfere. If Isidor Orden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 54 minutes Dayman's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Urbano Rocha who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Tala's Urbano Rocha to fire away a dangerous shot which Mitxaut Zaton despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Vincente Rigual showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txeru Courel, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Feliberto Marron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vincente Rigual made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txeru Courel in the 63rd minute of play. After 68 played minutes, Dayman's Omero Paredes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vincente Rigual came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dayman reached it. In the 74th minute, Lizbeth Betzanos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vincente Rigual was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Mitxaut Zaton successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mitxaut Zaton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Marron, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Felipillo Betoño's late challenge caught a Tala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipillo Betoño helped the player get up and apologised. Felipillo Betoño hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute Txeru Courel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Rigual saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Feliberto Marron came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Tala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Marron couldn't finish the play. After 89 played minutes Tala got a freekick which was hit by Hermon Carmenes. Gabino Maestro struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Vincente Rigual didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dayman. After having played for 95 minutes, Feliberto Marron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Marron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dayman had won after a very even match.
