Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Weather Valli started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Fernando Bernaldez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Weather Valli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reimundo Baelo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Edson Ajamil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paysandu AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curticeras the free kick. In the 7th minute, Edson Ajamil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jayvier Lizana made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Xavian Pedroza sent off a good shot on target. Fernando Bernaldez's late challenge caught a Curticeras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Bernaldez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Curticeras booed when Paysandu AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Bernaldez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reimundo Baelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Weather Valli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 21st minute of the match Fernando Bernaldez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fernando Bernaldez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Paysandu AFC's Fernando Bernaldez got a free kick in the 21st minute. Weather Valli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reimundo Baelo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mikeldi Salz during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Curticeras's Mikeldi Salz got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Curticeras's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Xavian Pedroza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 36 played minutes Paysandu AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fe Carranceja. Reimundo Baelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Anton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Weather Valli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reimundo Baelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Richie Arichaga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paysandu AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curticeras the free kick. Richie Arichaga kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Xavian Pedroza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Paysandu AFC's Ranolfo Sasiain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jayvier Lizana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Reimundo Baelo managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Curticeras's Richie Espineiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 73rd match minute, Curticeras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikeldi Salz to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 75 in the game by Richie Espineiro from a close distance when the talented Reimundo Baelo managed to make a qualified save. Paysandu AFC's players were relieved. 78 minutes into the match, Xavian Pedroza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jayvier Lizana. Curticeras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xavian Pedroza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 81st minute, Ranolfo Sasiain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xavian Pedroza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jayvier Lizana having to interfere. Richie Espineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Reimundo Baelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paysandu AFC! When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, Curticeras's Adalberto Anton got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Reimundo Baelo. In the 100th minute, Richie Espineiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Curticeras eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
