Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dayman FC's Quirze Curbelo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Dayman FC's Guillen Centenales got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the game, Etxepare Orue cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Claris Cardon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute, Quirze Curbelo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jatsu Saavedra. The goal made the score 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Quirze Curbelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dayman FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Quirze Curbelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jatsu Saavedra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claris Cardon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Repiso in the 26th minute of play. Jatsu Saavedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quirze Curbelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes of play, Gerona AFC's Etxepare Orue made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claris Cardon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the game, Etxepare Orue cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Claris Cardon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lalla Ason could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Jatsu Saavedra made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Gerona AFC's zone, Quirze Curbelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jatsu Saavedra came out of the goal and Quirze Curbelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jatsu Saavedra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xanti Alba in the 45th minute. After the first half Gerona AFC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Etxepare Orue to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Dayman FC's Xanti Alba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jatsu Saavedra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Quirze Curbelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerona AFC's Jatsu Saavedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quirze Curbelo in the 69th minute of play. Jatsu Saavedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quirze Curbelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Claris Cardon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Etxepare Orue in the 75th minute of play. Etxepare Orue could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Claris Cardon made a huge save. In the 80th match minute, Dayman FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florin Chapa to maneuver through the defense. Claris Cardon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Argi Martin in the 82nd minute. Dayman FC's Quirze Curbelo got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerona AFC's Jatsu Saavedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quirze Curbelo in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xanti Alba in the 91st minute of play forced Gerona AFC's goalkeeper Jatsu Saavedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gerona AFC booed when Dayman FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xanti Alba didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Gerona AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
