Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Corderun Oca took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rufio Echaez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eguzki Villaboa's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Rufio Echaez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corderun Oca in the 8th minute of the match. Eguzki Villaboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vila's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eron Baena in the 18th minute. After taking down the ball on Vila's corner Zacarias Peñuelas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rufio Echaez quite easily take care of the ball. Rufio Echaez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corderun Oca, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Ritchie Catanach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ted Feijon charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ted Feijon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vila getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ted Feijon hit a great ball. The supporters of Paysandu FC booed when Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Feijon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Vila defense, Cosme Sardaneta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santutxo Caro. The Vila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santutxo Caro should have stopped the shot. Eguzki Villaboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rufio Echaez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute of the match Cucao Rabanal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santutxo Caro skillfully saved the ball. Corderun Oca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosme Sardaneta was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Zacarias Peñuelas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rufio Echaez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Corderun Oca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eguzki Villaboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufio Echaez having to interfere. When Cosme Sardaneta came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Paysandu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosme Sardaneta couldn't finish the play. Paysandu FC's Cosme Sardaneta got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ted Feijon kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The audience cheered when Tabor Caracedo's long shot passed Santutxo Caro's right side. It was 2-0, 75 minutes into the match. Rufio Echaez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eguzki Villaboa in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Paysandu FC's Ritchie Catanach sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santutxo Caro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rufio Echaez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corderun Oca in the 93rd minute of the match. Paysandu FC's Rufio Echaez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Paysandu FC from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Paysandu FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vila had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
