Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zosimo Cimbron got the match started through his kick off. If Zosimo Cimbron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute Isadore Roldan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neto Rincon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Zosimo Cimbron left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trigo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Trigo's zone, Amadeo Bravo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viator Azadon came out of the goal and Amadeo Bravo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isadore Roldan in the 24th minute of play forced Salto FC's goalkeeper Neto Rincon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salto FC's Amadeo Bravo got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Viator Azadon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zosimo Cimbron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Neto Rincon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Trigo's zone, Amadeo Bravo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viator Azadon came out of the goal and Amadeo Bravo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Trigo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Amadeo Bravo made the kick off in the second half. If Santxol Losa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trigo's Zosimo Cimbron got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isadore Roldan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 0-3 became the score in the 66th minute when Zosimo Cimbron elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Neto Rincon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zosimo Cimbron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Zosimo Cimbron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Neto Rincon was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 73rd match minute, Salto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zavior Urueña to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Salto FC's Neto Rincon got control of the ball when Isadore Roldan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isadore Roldan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Neto Rincon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Trigo booed when Salto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onofre Ceron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salto FC's Neto Rincon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zosimo Cimbron in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Uriel Mañaria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santxol Losa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viator Azadon having to interfere. Zosimo Cimbron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Salto FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Trigo's performance. The match ended with a win for Trigo.
