To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Argina Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Conde's supporters rose to their feet, but Argina Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natanael Altemiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute Argina Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Altemiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jairo Usategui came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Vergara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Usategui couldn't finish the play. Astigar Piña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Usategui, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bastiaro Renta in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Astigar Piña saved Conde from getting behind. Astigar Piña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Usategui in the 28th minute of play. Jairo Usategui blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Astigar Piña having to make a save. If Eate Villodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Vergara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastiaro Renta to maneuver through the defense. Eate Villodas struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Natanael Altemiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Argina Faria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natanael Altemiz was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game.
