Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jatsu Cantero got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jatsu Cantero in the 3rd minute of play forced Pedernal's goalkeeper Medardo Faes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cordon AFC's Martin Asegninolaza got a free kick in the 7th minute. If Martin Asegninolaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Cordon AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Xulian Landazuri came free, but Baldomiro Pujado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Asegninolaza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Medardo Faes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 19th minute Jatsu Cantero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Medardo Faes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilabert Saladrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Jatsu Cantero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Medardo Faes having to interfere. The supporters of Cordon AFC booed when Pedernal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gipuzkoa Sanjurjo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomiro Pujado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xulian Landazuri in the 33rd minute of the match. After 37 minutes, Jokin Nanclares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pedernal and the Cordon AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jokin Nanclares hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Cordon AFC's attack was well implemented in the 40th minute, but when Martin Asegninolaza was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Jatsu Cantero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Medardo Faes having to interfere. After the first half Pedernal were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xulian Landazuri to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xulian Landazuri in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomiro Pujado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jatsu Cantero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Asegninolaza struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Medardo Faes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cordon AFC. In the 63rd minute, Jatsu Cantero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Medardo Faes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 66 minutes into the match, Pedernal's goal looked a bit too open when Jatsu Cantero came free, but Medardo Faes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Pedernal getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jokin Nanclares hit a great ball. Medardo Faes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jatsu Cantero in the 69th minute of the match. Jatsu Cantero struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Medardo Faes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cordon AFC. If Isidoro Estenaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Medardo Faes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jatsu Cantero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Medardo Faes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jatsu Cantero in the 84th minute of play. Jatsu Cantero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Asegninolaza struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Medardo Faes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cordon AFC. After having played for 94 minutes, Isidoro Estenaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pedernal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Estenaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petrigai Agüera's late challenge caught a Pedernal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petrigai Agüera helped the player get up and apologised. The Pedernal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pedernal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
