Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Cisco Villatreses was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarandi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Durazno the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Sarandi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cisco Villatreses to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, Sarandi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Medero Recio came free, but Calisto Zuriarrain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Durazno booed when Sarandi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ximenez Somiedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gomesano Oyanguren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaitan Eraña charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaitan Eraña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 15 minutes, Gomesano Oyanguren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Durazno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gomesano Oyanguren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Calisto Zuriarrain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Medero Recio in the 16th minute of the match. Baladi Quijano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Navarro having to interfere. Calisto Zuriarrain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gomesano Oyanguren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32ndth minute of the game Chinto Briceño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Durazno's Ronaldo Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Medero Recio made a kick off. Gomesano Oyanguren in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Calisto Zuriarrain, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 57 minutes into the game, Frasquito Sagredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Durazno's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Chinto Briceño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calisto Zuriarrain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Medero Recio, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When Chinto Briceño came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Sarandi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chinto Briceño couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Sarandi FC's Chinto Briceño got a free kick in the 84th minute. If Guipuzkoa Aguileta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chinto Briceño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldo Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play.
