The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Scavino FC's Desiderio Luis got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Desiderio Luis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Martinez Besora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Segarra AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Martinez Besora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Balesio Avina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martinez Muñagorri hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Petri Meneses fired a really elegant long shot, but Peter Hergueta threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bieito Zuniga to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desiderio Luis in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Hergueta saved Segarra AFC from getting behind. After 61 played minutes Scavino FC got a freekick which was hit by Menendo Abrante. With a little luck, Scavino FC's Balesio Avina got control of the ball when Xelo Longoria tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xelo Longoria got free with Balesio Avina in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute Martinez Besora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Balesio Avina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 played minutes Segarra AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gilabert Belmonte. Bieito Zuniga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Peter Hergueta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Luis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Hergueta having to interfere. After 95 minutes, Ixidor Munne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scavino FC and the Segarra AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Ixidor Munne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnalt Falavarte kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
